Teeth Impression Kit Instructions

IMPORTANT: Before you begin, thoroughly read through these instructions. For best results, ensure you're in a well-lit area and have access to a mirror.

What’s Included in Your Kit:

1. Impression trays (various sizes)
2. Catalyst (white) and base (blue) putty
3. Return bag and form

Steps to Take Your Teeth Impression:

1. Prepare:

• Wash your hands thoroughly.
• Clean and floss your teeth.
• Lay out all the kit components on a clean surface.

2. Selecting the Right Tray:

• Try on the impression trays without putty to find the size that fits your mouth comfortably without touching the front, back, or sides of your teeth.
• You should have an even space between the tray's edge and your teeth all around.

3. Mixing the Putty:

• Put on the disposable gloves.
• Quickly mix one catalyst (white) and one base (blue) putty together until they form a consistent blue color without any white streaks (about 30 seconds).
• Roll the mixed putty into a  sausage shape.

4. Place Putty in Tray:

• Lay the putty into the tray, ensuring it's evenly spread and fills the tray completely.
• Do this step swiftly to prevent the putty from hardening before the impression is taken.

5. Taking the Impression:

• Position yourself in front of a mirror.
• Open your mouth wide and use both hands to push the tray over your teeth, ensuring it's centered.
• Push the tray straight up (for upper teeth) or straight down (for lower teeth) into your teeth.
• Hold the tray in place for 3 minutes to allow the putty to set.
• Avoid wiggling the tray during this time.

6. Removing the Impression:

• After the putty has set, gently pull the tray straight down (for upper teeth) or straight up (for lower teeth) to release the impression.
• Check to ensure all your teeth have left clear impressions and that there are no pulls or drags in the putty.

7. Packaging & Return:

• Rinse the impression with cold water and let it air dry.
• Once dry, place the impression in the provided plastic bag.
• Fill out the return form and place it, along with your impression, into the return bag.

8. Postage:

• Mail the return bag back to us using the provided return label.

Tips and Reminders:

• Act quickly when mixing and placing the putty to avoid premature hardening.
• If you're not satisfied with your first attempt, use the additional putty provided to take a second impression.
